Better

I don't think i've written anything about my anxiety lately. But i'm feeling better. I hope i'm not jinxing myself here by saying that. I still have little anxious moments but Thank God not like before. When I start to get upset or anxious I repeat a bible verse that I love and it helps me so much. I know that God is with me and I Know that he's protecting me. And that helps more then anything.

Making the best of it.

Since Billy is laid off this week he's trying hard to make the best of the situation. He went monday and signed up for unemployment. But of course they have that wonderful rule where you have a "Waiting week" So even though he's not working this week he Still won't get an unemployment check! Sucks big time! so that means no money coming in at all next week. This is such Crap! I thank God that we have some extra $$ in savings though. We use our savings money each month to pay our mortage but just happen to have a little bit extra. Thank God. Not a lot but hopefully enough to get us through the week.
Plus Billy has been working this week for his best friend. He's putting new cedar siding on a building for him. I thank God for D. Not sure how much he'll get paid but any amount helps.
I figure they'll start calling me to substitute soon. Or at least I hope so anyway. Even with that I wouldn't get paid till the end of the month. I hate BIllys job So much. I Really wish that he could get another one. But since he's been there 20 years if he started over somewhere else he'd be the low man and be Totally starting over. I don't blame him really it's just that his job now sucks so bad.
So we're making the best of it and trying to make it the best we can.

Back to school tomorrow.

Man where the heck did summer go?! It seems like it flew by so fast. And tomorrow is back to school! Yikes! As far as clothes, shoes and school supplies the kids are ready, But the Kids Aren't ready lol. I am in a way because it's time for them to get busy doing something other then fighting and being bored. can Someone tell my how in the world kids with sooooo many toys, a pool, swingset, trampoline and bikes can possibly be bored?! I'm at a loss to figure it out! but they both are/were. Sam is going into the 5th grade. How did that happen?! My baby boy is getting so big! He's almost as tall as me. The top of his head reaches my eyes! He's now wearing a size 12 jeans and size MENS 8 shoes. OMG he's going to be wayy taller then me. well actually a LOT of people are taller then me LOL I've been praying hard for Sam. Praying that God will help him to come out of his shell a bit more and make more friends and not isolate himself so much. He's such a loner at times and it makes my heart Hurt so much to think of him alone at school with no friends. His best friend from last year isn't in his class this year. Oh how I prayed they would be. But at least they'll be able to see each other on the playground. That is if Sam takes the inititive(sp) to talk and play with him.
Shelbie was/is disapionted that her bffs aren't in her room this year too. But like I told her she'll be able to play with them outside on the playground and they can all still be buddies. And she'll make new friends. It absolutly amazes me Just how differant my kids are. Sam doesn't make friends to easily and shelbie is a person Magnet. She's more like her daddy that way. I take awhile to warm up to people. lol.
I just pray that this year is a Wonderful year for both of my babies and that they adjust to the changes in school with Ease.

A new school year also means back to work for me too. Oh man i'm both excited about it and dreading it too. lol. I Like subbing alot and with Billys job hours changed we Need the extra income Big time. but i'm praying that they won't need a Sub for about 2 or so weeks so that I can get somethings done around here that I Really need to get done. It's just so much easier to do them alone then with the kids running here and there getting into stuff. I have been praying hard that I get to Sub a Lot this year. Last year was a bit of a bust but most of it was My fault. With helping my grandparents etc.. I couldn't/Didn't sub as much as I needed to. Hopefully this year will be better.
Hey it's only 9 more months till Summer Vacation. Wonder if I should start a Ticker for that? LOL

Crap!

Well Billys work is at it again! Things have slowed down and they are Changing his hours again this year! I HATE THIS! He's now working 8 hour shifts mon-friday. Instead of 12 hour shifts! So that means No overtime! I have no idea h ow much money that he'll be losing but it Sucks! Sucks big time!!
I'm praying that this doesnt' last long and that he'll go back to his regular hours soon. Please God.

Happenings

WEll there haven't been many lol. Nah really there have been a few.
We had a Great vacation at the lake again this year. It was so nice and sunny and only in the mid to low 90's not 110 like Last year. Last year was sick! We h ad a great time swimming and going out on the boats and trout fishing. We didn't get to fish much due to the millions of canoers that were going through where we were fishing. Sam was ornery and threw a rock out there and got Really close to hitting a boat. He wasn't trying to actually Hit anyone, just throwing rocks out of bordom but he got close. I told him next time throw it a little closer LOL The kids had a blast and Thankfully there were no bad injuries. Sam had a bike wreck and Thank God it only gave him scrapes. It could have been worse. My best friend S and I have already starting planning our vacation next year. If Gods willing we're all going together! Yeah!! We're talking about a beach somewhere in Texas. Gulf shores or Orange beach. Somewhere like that. Sounds Wonderful to me!
Since we've been home i've been trying to get the kids ready for back to school. It's Nuts just all the stuff that they have to have for school! Shelbies school supply list was a Full page long! and sams though shorter was Expensive! It's crazy! Plus clothes and new shoes. Dang we're broke now! Seriously broke! I hate it. We're trying to get Billys truck fixed, the brakes locked up on him the day we were leaving for vacation. he had to put new brakes on the back and a new brake drum plus a master cylinder and now some kind of belt. MY truck needs work too. Thank God for 3 trucks or we'd be screwed! I've been without a truck a few days this week so far. It sucks! But heck it'll cost God only knows how much to fix my truck so we're focusing on Billys since it's a Bit cheaper to fix. But Not cheap by any means. I need to work but even though school is starting soon it'll probably be a few weeks or at least a month or more before they start needing subs. *sigh* I got used to having extra money. And now that it's fastly (is that a word?) going out of our hands it's worrying me. Billys check this week was $25.00! Yep. $25.00! He was off 2 days on our vacation so he didn't get paid for those days. Yep it hurts BIG TIME!
I'm hitting Ebay big time trying to Sell to get money to turn around and Buy kids stuff. Thank God that Sam doesnt' really need shirts, just jeans and he's got enough I'm thinking for now. Shelbies another story. That kid is growing like a weed. Sams getting Taller too but shelbies is crazy! She had to have all new jeans and pants and her tops got bigger too. mostly because she's like me, Short legs and Long upper body. So she has to have bigger tops so that her tummy doesnt' shine. lol.
Now all I need for her is Shoes. God please help me to find some Cheap.
